GIRL ON A ROCKING HORSE BIO
Anna arrives in London for the first time, she barely speaks English and doesn’t know anybody in the big city. She comes from a tiny Eastern European village and has never been abroad, her knowledge of London is purely based on fashion magazines and cheesy Au-pair agency leaflets. Anna’s purse might be near empty, however, her head is full of dreams and she has a strong fire in her belly. We follow Anna on her very first day in the big scary city of London and its’ colourful inhabitants and creatures. However, not everything is as rosy and glossy as the pages of the fashion digest suggest.

I met Petra Bryant whilst playing a gig with Fortnight In Florida at The Amersham Arms, New Cross, London. We were supporting a band called Useless Cities for an EP they were launching.
Petra spoke to us after our set and told us she was a big fan of our music and she was looking for songs to use in a film she had written and was directing. She used 2 songs from Fortnight In Florida‘s debut EP So Long. It’s Alright and Street Signs.
